Seeking help to understand Gcms notes.

Hey everyone,

I got study permit refusal in December.

After exactly a month I got my Gcms notes, stating this -

Previous schooling and/or employment inconsistent with current educational goals; See client history and LOA - Given the applicant's previous education and employment history, I am not satisfied the motivation to pursue this particular program, at this point in time in Canada, is reasonable; See LOA - The applicant has failed to satisfy me that pursuing the selected program of study is reasonable given the high cost of international study in Canada when weighed against the potential career/employment benefits after completion, and the local options available for similar studies. See LOA. Therefore, I am not satisfied that the applicant would be a bona fide student in Canada who will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for their stay.

Please give some suggestions regarding this statement.
My course is gonna start from 12 March and I'm gonna apply around 28 January.

For anyone to comment you need to share your profile such as current qualifications,work experience if any, planned course, how the course improves your prospects on return to your home country. Finally why you need to come to Canada for this course.

All things mentioned in the refusal but cannot see unless missed it that you have posted in previous posts.

I did B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with 77% marks, IELTS of 7 band with no less than 6.
After graduation I have 4 years of experience in marketing of chemicals, that's why I chose Business Management course because I wanted to learn technical skills in this field as I have experience but not education.

Please advise!

I applied on 22nd December and received on 23rd January.

Can I do PG Diploma, what's harm in that?

No harm. But it shows that your motivation is to immigrate and stay in canada, based on your previous education and qualifications, it makes no sense to spend that much money on a PG diploma which does not offer and benefits to you and the cost of studies out weight the employment prospects in your country.
