Canadian Employers do not consider job application

I am from India and I have created express entry profile with 365 scores. Now obvious way to increase my score is to get a job. IELTS is done (8,8,6.5,8 - LRWS) so now I have to search job in canada and get one to increase my CRS (by 50 points). I have created job search (on official job bank) account as well but when I apply to any of the employers with my resume and cover letter they do not reply at all some send email which says that "we have reviewed your application and we would like to consider some other candidate at this point of time. we would encourage to check out our other openings" (I am surprised they do not give any reason and rejects me like that)

Some forums says that employers are not replying because you do not have any legal working status in Canada. Moreover, the jobs in the job bank also has notice down below something like this.

"if you are not legally eligible to work in Canada then the employer will not consider your application."

This is deadlock. to get the legal status (in other word PR (via CRS scrore)) you need job (so that CRS will go up) and to get a job you need legal status in Canada

why they provide the job bank account if the person will not be able to get a job if they do not have a legal status?

Does this mean that if one no legal status then he will never be getting a job in Canada on his/her capabilities?

Am I understanding something wrong or doing something wrong that I am not getting a job? Seems like I am missing something or some links

Some Info about me: I am having 7 years of experience in software development in a US based multinational healthcare IT company but still there is no employer who at least replies me and then rejects me in the interview if I am not performing well.

Can anyone here help me? I am new to this portal so please excuse me if I have violated some rules

You should assume it won't be possible to get a job offer. There is nothing wrong with what you are doing. It's pretty much impossible to find employers willing to go through the process to hire a foreign worker since the process is so long and expensive.

You will need to find other ways to increase your score.

Hello @scylla ,@mike2236
I have given ielts again and this time it was LRWS 9,7.5,6.5,7.5. I have given the same score in the CRS tool as well but my CRS stands at 365. Now I work in a MNC in india and it has branch in BC,canada. If I get the internal transfter there then will that be considered as the job that I got in canada and then I can go for BC PNP. Please let me know if there is any other ways to improve my score.

Some background
- LRWS 9,7.5,6.5,7.5 (trial 2) 8,8,6.5,8(trial1)
- married
- Bachelors only
- wife is not giving ielts
- score is 365 (on basis of ielts trial 1)

I belive I have been fooled by my consultant. they are just sitting on my luck that I will receive ITA one day. so i want to explore everything that I can do. as per my first post I have been applying almost on daily basis on different website and job board sites, but no luck as I have no legal status in india.

Maybe go the study permit / PGWP route, expensive and likely a 3-5 year plan but getting a job offer as mentioned above almost impossible even through MNCs who are often hesitant to be seen to supporting a PR application thus potentially opening the flood gates as it were for all outside Canada employees.

Inter company transfers as assume you know tend to need to be either executive/management or someone bringing unique specialised skills to a Canadian subsidiary on a temporary work permit

In taking the study/PGWP route you get the opportunity to get one year plus Canadian work experience to use towards a PR application

Have you spoken to an IT receruitter? They probably know if a FN candidatw may be considered for soms of the posted jobs. Many companies are not hiring a lot because of covid and not knowing how bad the econony will get. Canada also wants conpanies to hire those already in Canada.

@Bs65 and @canuck78 thanks a lot for your reply. where can I find some legitimate IT recruiters? and for the study suggestion I would humbly like to say that this might not be my option. I have wife and 2 year kid to support so I am not sure if I can prepare my mind for study

- One more point is that the intracompany transfer will not help me, will it help only to manager level job only? I am senior SW developer with 7+years of experience. Unfortunately my consultant is not much helpful in these matters.
