Why Ottawa Office is very very slow?

I live in Barrie and Application was received on Aug 6th and in process on November 26th but I only received the test invite today and my application is being processed by the Scarborough centre hope this helps

Kitchener officer is yet to send test invites to Jan 2018 applicants. Probably the slowest.

My understanding is that, it rally depends on when the FP results reach the CIC office.. after the results reach them, it can be anywhere from 1 to 5 months.. As long as the overall app timeline is within 1 year from AOR, they are not officially delayed. what do others think?

But i just says test date and no interview. So do i get interview letter later on. I have two small kids in my application do i have to take them with me as well Do anyone know about it. Thanks

congrats on receiving test date!
My timeline is very similar to yours.. AOR to In Process on Nov 21, and FP submitted on Dec 16.. hoping to receive test invite any time from now onwards.
I don't know answers to your questions, hoping members answer. What city are you in?
