Express Entry and Study Permit

Hello,

I am currently on post-graduate work permit (valid till June 2020). I am planning to take 8 months of certification from May 2020, so thereby I will be changing my status from work to study.

I will also have 1 year 11 months full-time work experience in Canada by May 2020 (before I change my status from worker to student)

If I do work part-time (20 hours per week, under the full-time study permit criteria) will that count towards points in the Express Entry System?

Also, since I will be under the study permit while being in the Express Entry pool, and if I receive the ITA, will the study permit status affect the PR processing application, in any way?

No, work done while studying will not count. You will also not be able to get another PGWP.

No, the study permit won't affect the PR app.
