Hi, that one for July was rejected.I again applied 2nd time on August & it was rejected again.3rd time I used a lawyer and applied on 13th Nov,still waiting upto now & it was to take only 4 weeks as per the processing time.
I have been refused three times
Based on my employment situation
Based on purpose
Family ties in Canada and kenya

Have a diploma in Journalism
I have four years experience in a loan and services company
Married blessed with one Kid
Own two business barbar shop
I attached my application with my transcript
Marriage affidavit
My brother is sponsoring my studies
Attached employer letter.
I have admission letter from SAIT College to study diploma in Journalism
Attached my bank statement
My ligal affidavit with my brother to come and work for him part time after studies to refund some of the money that he will spend on my studies
Attached letter of my friend commitment to accommodate me during my studies in Canada
Attached my fee payment receipt of 2500 CD
I applied for notes and this is what I was given
I have reviewed the application given family ties or economic motives to remain in Canada the applicant incentive to remain in Canada may outweigh their to their home country the application plan of study appear vague and poorly documented according to the applicant current or future employment prospects I have accorded less weight to their employment ties to their country of residence weighing the factors in this application am not satisfied that the applicant will depart Canada after the period authorised for them to stay

Okey,am not perfect in this but lemmi give you my two cents.
1)You already have a Dip in Journalism and yet you still applied for Dip in Journalism.You could have atleast gone for Bachelors or something.
2)Your current employment status in somehow different from what you studied.
Am sure you can give it another try but this time please look for help,someone that can draft a good SOP for you.
I have been denied twice and my 3rd try I used an immigration lawyer who wrote a good SOP fpr me.
