People have been rejected for not submitting PCCs.

People have been rejected for PCCs that show criminal backgrounds.

People have been rejected for fraudulent PCCs.

People have been rejected for submitting a letter saying they're applying but don't have it yet, months later.

Is your concern anywhere in these options?

Just to add to the above list - people have been rejected if the PCC they submited doesn't cover the entire period they were living in that country.

Yes!

Or in the case of places like China, if the PCC doesn't cover all the places they've lived. (China has each city's districts give PCCs, or universities, or etc. etc. etc.)

It is one of the more common reasons for rejection. Also to add to the above - submitting PC with a date when you were still living in the country

What does this mean exactly? I have seen some PCC samples where period is not mentioned at all.

What if the PCC doesn't state the duration of your stay in that country?
The PCC will have an issue date. This date has to be after your last stay in that country.

It means the issue date on the PCC cannot be before you left that country.

Thank you.
Yes, the PCC has an issue date. And yea, it was issued after I left the country.

I'm only concerned that it doesn't state the duration of my stay in the country, 2012 to 2015. It's mostly generic.

I have the same concern. I left my home country Dec 2018. After which I got my PCC made (which has expired now). To date, I have gone back to my home country once and for 2 weeks only. According to the CIC website, I read that I can submit an expired PCC because I have not lived in my home country for more than 6 months (was there only for 14 days). Is this really true? I do not have to get an updated PCC?

You will have to get an undated PCC which covers those 14 days.

Why do you think it might?
Because the structure of PCC from india is different than the one you get when you apply from bls office here in canada. The only reason i got it from india is because its taking too long to get it from bls office these days.
