Profile Ineligible after change of NOC code

Hello All

i recently changed my NOC code to better match my job description and as soon as i changed the Profile became Ineligible.
However now created a new profile with the old NOC code and its all ok now.
Either it is because
-some NOCs are filled and they are not accepting any more applicants into them
-its not permitted to move from NOC 0 to NOC A
-or the experience required for NOC A is more as compared to what required for NOC 0

Any input will be appreciated

Forgot to mention:

Also indicate which job you want to change the NOC code for, and which NOC you want to change to.
Hi dan_and
Thanks a lot for your reply

Am employed in Finance (U.A.E - Dubai)with 1.5 years of Experience - Applied in EE through NOC code 0111 (financial Managers-as its mentioned on my visa)
However my job duties are more of a Financial accountant/Auditor because am involved in internal auditing, forensic accounting, all the financial transaction entries (AND running errands) and overseeing managerial aspects such as discussing Trust Receipts with banks, Dealings in LC and stuff
But overall its more inclined towards NOC 1111 (financial auditors and Accountants)

and thats what i wanted to change to from NOC 0111 to NOC 1111

Previously i was working in the UK but that was part time (sales & Customer Services) and don't think its going to add any points (your Opinion)?
so am claiming the points only for my current job listed above-meaning no gaps
Age 24
IELTS L9 R9 S8 W6.5

EE score 401

No i didn't listed any other jobs as i guess its pretty hard to get hold of my UK employer for Reference Letter - Although i have all the pay stubs

i created my initial profile in first week of April and tried to chnage it today morning (and its went ineligble)
Created a new profile just now

am not too sure about primary NOC if i changed it or not but i surely did the changes in the section ''WORK HISTORY''

Okay. So you did not list any other jobs in the work experience section?

When you changed the NOC code, did you also change it for the question "What is your primary NOC code?"

I'm pretty sure that's your problem.

At the top of the work experience section form, there is a question that says:

"Primary occupation (4 digit NOC Code)"

This must match with the NOC code you list under work experience. If it doesn't, your profile will become ineligible (since you only have one job and the system will assume that you have zero work experience in your primary occupation).

Change both and see what happens.
BUDDY YOU ARE A STAR
I DID AND IT WORKED. MASSIVE THANKS TO YOU.
IT'S ONLY BECAUSE OF YOU THAT SAVED ME A LOT OF TROUBLE

Hi, I am working in the Forensic departments of Big4 firms like EY and KPMG in India for the last 5 years. Could you let me know if NOC 1111 is the correct code for the same?

If anyone else knows regarding the same, would really appreciate the help.

What is your NOC code at the end you selected?

NOC 1114 has a similar description with your background?
1111 was more apt for me, as the financial investigators described in 1114 talk about investigations of financial services industry. What I used to do what more related to accounting investigations and analysis, which is described in 1111. Further, my clients were 99% from non-financial services industries. Hence, I selected 1111. And it was accepted. I'm already in Canada :)

I selected NOC 1111 only
Can we select NOC 1111 even without CPA? I have been reading conflicting responses from people. Some say we should choose 1111 only if we are designated, others say the opposite.

Hey were you a CA while selecting the NOC 1111?
I have completed my article ship and my final is still pending
So I have doubts about my NOC

Hi

I changed both primary noc code at the beginning and in the experience still my profile turned ineligible.
I made new profile in that there was one question have you applied for ircc before i said yes and entered my ineligible profile number. My profile also became ineligible.
