Weird... really weird then... we talk about 14 months one. no adr , nothing... suspicious

I think Mexico is so backlogged on all applications most I see from Cuba are taking 15-17 months to finish .

This whole process is crazy keeps your head up . News will come who knows when but once it does celebrations can begin .

I just feel it's arranged.. instead of telling they are NOT able to do under the 12 months they put all kind of reasons... Mexico is NOT possible under 12, period !! (It's way too backlogged) Only a few exceptions ones that is all.

Simply is the situation.

My lawyer says not too do webforms or request GCMS notes as it can hold up the file from moving . The MP says our file looks perfect and is backlogged and interview not recommended by officer

Your lawyer is wrong, it doesn’t hold up anything , I agree excessive communication can be bothersome to a VO but requesting notes has no bearing on the process at all . Maybe your lawyer just doesn’t want to order them

I think exactly the same on it... buying notes has no impact on duration of process.

Its a completely separate office, all they do is access the system and pull notes, scrub for any Privacy or security issues and send them off.

Application of receipt at the Mexico visa office . You may get a letter you may not . It’s in Mexico and they have started working on it

Probably because they don’t want to request them , it means more work haha

I haven't heard anything either. I talked to my MP today and they said that mine will take longer. There are two children and apparently that makes my application complex. MP seemed very unwilling and hesitant to help.

then why are they switching our status to decision made if they won’t send PPR? Whatever... hopefully it comes this week

There os no guarentee to have the application completed within 12 months. IRCC stated that their GOAL is to have 80% of applications completed within a 12 month time frame. I know the waiting is hard but some things are beyond our control. Can you imagine what the officers at the VO feel like with all the applications theyre getting to process from ALLLLL over? When we applied it was an 18 month wait. We set out expectations to 2 yeArs so we werent disappointed when 18 months came and went. We didnt go past 13 months. We cant really speculate what is causing the delay other than knowing theyre responsible for processing several countries apps and are swamped. Sucks but it is what it is at this point
