Hi. Have you already have a biometrics request? Im just wondering for those December 25 and up AORs if they have already a biometrics request.

What is R10 Completeness Check

An acknowledgement of receipt (R10 passed) letter is issued to an applicant (or their representative, if applicable) once their application for permanent residence has passed the R10 completeness check.

The letter is issued by the Centralized Intake Office. If the application was submitted electronically, this letter is sent to the applicant (or their representative, if applicable) via their MyCIC account; otherwise, the letter is sent by mail.


This letter should not be confused with the electronic receipt of the application for permanent residence letter.


This is the official acknowledgement of receipt letter and it may be used to support a bridging open work permit if all other requirements are met.

@andy108 brother the R10 completeness check letter they send, usually how many days after AOR and does it being sent prior to biometrics request or with the request itself.

Here are my med and bg status:
Review of medical results

• December 21, 2019 You passed the medical exam

Background check

• We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Am I right that this is IP2?

Its a sequence, so you need to monitor in light of changes in your statuses.

Guys my AOR was December 28, 2019. When do you think can I have the biometrics request?

I would say in the next 2-3 weeks.

Hi, no i haven't yet. the latest one i know is a profile that had 22nd as the AOR.

After Christmas, its taking a bit of time.
