Hi Im an september applicant, Mine was transferred here in Visa Office Manila , Until now no update yet. Base from the others experience, The application process is faster in Mississauga rather than the local visa offices here.

My application was transferred to MVO too on 10 Dec and changed "started processing on 31 Dec" status on ECAS.

Hopefully our application will be done soon. i dont understand is why did our application went to Mississauga. It might be a good thing we'll never know its been a month since the last update. If you can can you please post your whole timeline?

they started processing mine Dec 12.. Lets hope all will be done soon

Hi Team October! Trying to understand where I am in the process- received an email today (1/10/20) with a letter attached.

It Says: “The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, permanent residence visa.”

Basically says to send a photocopy of my Passport and two photos, and fill in one form (Annex A), and a self addressed stamped envelope.

ECAS says “decision made”
GCKey has a new document “invitation to pre-arrival services”

ahhh- am I approved? If so, any idea how long it is from here to receive back the “confirmation of PR” that apparently goes into my US passport?

Dec 7, 2019 - Medical passed
Dec 15, 2019 - Police certificate request
Dec 30, 2019 - Police certificate submitted

Nov 26, 2019 - Biometric done
Dec 4, 2019 - AOR CPC Mississauga
Dec 7, 2019 - Medical passed
Dec 15, 2019 - Police certificate request
Dec 30, 2019 - Police certificate submitted

After background checks are completed, if IRCC did not find any issues then a decision will be made for the PA. If they are not satisfied then chances are that PA might need to attend interview.

Soon after all of the above are done, you will receive a "pre-arrival" letter followed by PPR a few days, weeks or months later depending on the V.O.
