Delayed study permit extension

I applied for study permit renewal in June 1st week and I got reply from IRCC that it will takes 9 month to extend and it will come in April 2020 as we have too much work load. And I will finish my study on feb 2020 so what I have to do now .

Who exactly told you this? Study permit extension take 3-4 months. But in any event if you applied for extension before it expired you are allowed to continue studying because you are on implied status until a decision is made.

I called to IRCC and one of the representative told me these things by checking my application status. I already applied for renewal before it was expired i applied for renewal in 1st week of june nd my study permit was expired on 31st july .

So I'm a little ahead of schedule so I don't have this issue yet but I fear I will soon. I am graduating from my first program on April 2020 and have applied to multiple programs for August/September 2020.

Under Implied Status can I start attending start attending classes in my new program? (different school)
Is my study permit (and extension) applicable to any schools as on my current permit the name of my school is stated?
When should I apply for extension? (I dont have LOA yet but I probably will soon, or atleast before I graduate)

Apply when you have the LOA, you should be allowed to study but talk to the school if they will allow it.
