Dear Experts,

Hope you are having a great day. I am in dire need for your advice. I am a middled aged IT professional , looking to migrate to Canada with my family. I have paid a representative for the same (which I think is a mistake). It has always been a headache to deal with them once I made the initial payment.

Anyhow, after I got my IELTS result , L-9, R-8.5, S-7, W-7 and WES credentials done , which is equivalent to 4 years of Canadian Bachelors degree. I have given all the docs to the representative. He created the profile and communicated to me the EE number and the JOB Seeker validation code. I asked them for my GC key and password which they denied saying "I regret to inform you that the EE login credentials can not be shared as it consists of all our client's details in a dashboard and we do not have individual credentials of our clients.". This was not a part of the legal agreement that I will not get access to my data , I followed up with them and and told them as I haven't signed up for it and my data is my right. I told them that I will go to IRCC with their lawyers RCC number , they finally gave me the credentials.

I saw they did some basic mistakes in my profile. Also in the Representative section they have said No.

Anyway now I am a bit worried to deal with them , as they have communicated wrong information to me and done mistakes in my profile. I changed the password and the secret question's answers for the profile.

Now they are asking for my profile details to represent me in IRCC. I am a bit worried to share the details to them due to obvious reasons.

I am worried that at this time , is my profile anyway linked to their profile and can they manipulate it? Also did they created my profile from their Authorized Representative Portal as they said ? When I login via the GC key which is my surname appended with some characters (denoting the definitely they don't use the key for everyone else) , I don't see any other profile.

Can you please Help with your expert views.

Regards!
Abhi

Authorized representative portal.. in my opinion that doesn't exist.. I've tagged seniors they'd be your best guide on the forum.

I would be more concerned about them not informing IRCC about Use of Representative. We would need more information on this but there are cases were IRCC sends an email for Procedural Fairness Letter and then rejects the application and bans the applicant from Canada for 5 years.

I have rechecked the details and made sure to correct it where ever applicable. They had given their mail id in the profile, which I have changed to my mail id now. Please let me know what more information you need.

Delete your profile and make a new one. Very clearly they screwed it up.

You paid them, you can stop their services.

Thanks Ryan. Actually I have checked , all the information in the account is correct now. I have created profile in the Job Bank with that account and got an invitation to apply for a job which is going on. So I don't want to mess it up now.

As I have changed the password and the secret questions they can't access the account now. I am worried is there something called "Authorized Representative Portal" where they may have this GC account mapped and can change the details via that portal? I wondered on what basis they said ,
"I regret to inform you that the EE login credentials can not be shared as it consists of all our client's details in a dashboard and we do not have individual credentials of our clients."

Does the representatives raise the request for all the client from their portal ?

Though my account doesn't seems to be that case as it's user name is customized to my name and I don't see any other profiles there. But still worried.

Also should I be worried and give the new password to the representative, as he wants to represent me? The problem is that I am not able to trust them any more after the lies and the attitude they are showing.

There is no representative portal. They are lying, the email on the account is yours?

Yes Sir. They had given their email in the account which I have corrected to my personal email. I have also corrected the email in the communication section of the express entry profile. Now all the details are correct. The representative section was anyhow filled as "no", by them.

Now they know my Unique Client Identifier and my EE number . Can they do any harm to my profile using this ?

Also is the statement a lie , "I regret to inform you that the EE login credentials can not be shared as it consists of all our client's details in a dashboard and we do not have individual credentials of our clients." ??

Is there any tool via which the the representative creates the profiles in bulk and they have all the client details in the Dashboard.

No, they can't do squat. What about the Job Bank position you were talking about? What's in process?

Well I got a mail from Job Bank that a recruiter wants me to apply for a job. Still in very initial stage but I did applied hoping for the best. The job back profile when I created was with the same Job Seeker Validation code and EE Profile as this one. So I don't want to change the profile as of now.

The only thing is , is there any chance even after me changing the email address in both the profile and EE communication sections the mails going to the consultants ?

Also the first mail which is the Welcome to Express Entry mail , has their email id mentioned is that a concern ?

Hey,

I read somewhere that if a person has your UCI or application number, along with other details they can request changes to your application. I am not sure where I read this. I'll let you know the source if I can.

PS: How dumb of me for not tagging scylla when I tagged seniors :p
