Thank you! I got the email on December 5th and the passport request yesterday. The application was approved in a month, which is the processing time for visas outside Canada from Argentina.

It has been 1 Month and 7 days I had applied and it has been more than a week since I've received the email "We're still working on your application." for my daughter's visa. I am super confused and worried. Don't know how to get any feedback or response from CIC. please help!

I applied on 10th December online and Today I got the refusal letter. Reasons are as below:

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

I don't know what to do next. Thinking of either reapply or appeal.
