Really its tooooo long , don't know the reason behind thisMy status is still Received...I have no changes since I submitted in May...
They are working as some few persons had their status changed within the last few days to ‘Assessment in process’ and someone else in another group got PFL yesterday. However it is very slow. They need to beef up their staff strength.I dont think are in the office working because its unusual of them not to reply a mail. I sent mail asking for update ,they are yey to reply as I write.
What's the problem.
How long do we continue to wait for application in received status since may?
You can provide document like utility bills or any other documents that carries you home address. Wish you the bestHi

They asked for additional documents to proof that we live in the area GP , MB
What documents should i provide them?
After the PFL, did you just get the refusal letter or your status changed to assessment in processing before the rejection letterReasons:
Application guidelines that can be found on www.immigratemanitoba.com clearly indicate that the Manitoba
Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) may not approve an application if the program officer is not satisfied
that the applicant meets the MPNP criteria. Specifically, you did not receive points for the regional immigration
assessment factor because you were unable to demonstrate your connection to your declared regional
destination in Manitoba.
Based on the documents you submitted in your application, the individual supporting your Settlement Plan
resides in Winnipeg, MB. In response to the Procedural Fairness Letter issued on October 16, 2019, you did
not provide any documentation or information to support your family or social ties to Winkler nor did you
clearly outline how you would establish yourself in Winkler. As a result, 50 points were deducted from your
EOI score and your revised total EOI points no longer meet the required score for Draw #56. Therefore, you
did not meet the minimum eligibility requirements of the MPNP. As a result, your application for nomination by
the Province of Manitoba cannot be approved. Please note that there might be other issues with your
application but since you do not meet one of core eligibility requirements, your application is now closed.

Hello All,
My friend applied for Mpnp and chose Brandon as city she wishes to reside. Her sponsor lives in Winnipeg and during the application for EOI, they never asked if she has a relative in Brandon - rather they asked if she has a relative in Manitoba which she clicked ''yes''.
Gurus in the house - please advise how best she should respond to this letter to avoid rejection of her application. This is the decision stage.
This letter is in reference to your application for nomination by the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) received on November 24, 2018.
As stated in the MPNP Policy and Procedures http://www.immigratemanitoba.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/MPNP-Policy-Guidelines-public.pdf, points for Regional Immigration can only be considered in cases where the applicant has:
clearly demonstrated that they have an established connection to their destination outside of Winnipeg through existing family or social ties; and
clearly and comprehensively outlined their plans for establishing their work and social life in the respective region of Manitoba
We note the following concerns:
In your Expression of Interest (EOI) submitted September 16, 2018, you declared that your destination in Manitoba is Brandon
Your declared family connection to Manitoba, resides in Winnipeg
You have not clearly demonstrated that you have an established connection to Brandon
Based on the above concerns, it has been assessed that you are not eligible to receive the 50 Expression of Interest ranking points for Regional Immigration. A recalculation of your EOI ranking points based on the above inconsistencies show that you would have scored 569.
Your application was drawn on September 28, 2018 and the lowest ranking score for the stream which you were selected in was 592. Based on the recalculation of your EOI ranking points, you would not have been drawn on September 28, 2018 and the Letter of Advice to Apply would not have been sent.
You have until August 5, 2019 to respond to our concerns.
