Guys, it gets approved only after sending through the passport(s)- might take a week or longer depending on which consulate you plan to send it.

Yes the passport, photo and Annex X was delivered last Friday. But now the status still hasn't change. I sent my passport to Ottawa office.

It takes some time guys- hang on. Nothing to worry ! Enjoy the moments :)

Hello everyone,
I hope you are doing well!

I received my Passport request on 28.08.2019 and submitted my passport on 03.09.2019. The online status of my application says "Decision Made".

I have not heard anything from them since then and the status says that my passport has been delivered to IRCC New Delhi and is currently under process. It has been 8 days and there is no update.

Should I worry about not getting the visa? I'm really losing my sleep over this!:(

I have travelled to the USA for three weeks and Africa for one month since after submitting my application. My application has been four months now and is undergoing background check. Do I submit details of these trips on my passport to CIC through the web page as it lists out other change in circumstances not exactly including recent travels.

Hello everyone,

Got three queries request your expert comments:

1) Passport request received on 17th December 2019 and submitted the passports & other documents at VFS Pune on 18th December 2019. How long would it take to get Passport visa stamped along with copr from New Delhi high commission ?
2) Is there a possibility of Rejection after PPR?
3) We are a family of four applicants including 2 children. Since we are waiting for copr and hoping to travel with COPR to Canada, wanted to have my parents on my first landing, just to help me settle in; they will only stay for about a month...Do you guys think I can take them along with a visitor visa or that could be complicated and could cause an issue?
Thanks in advance!
regards,

1-) average processing times vary from office to office, check Myimmitracker.
2-) highly doubt it
3-) have them apply for a visitor's visa ASAP

It can takes 2-6 weeks for the passports to be sent back.

Usually by this time the rejections are not an issue, but legally even when your re in Canada as a PR, and if it found that you misrepresented or were in violation of IRPA, your PR status can be rejected.

Am I the only one who got through the entire process without telling my management about my PR plans?
I received PPR on 6 Mar. Going to submit my passport today.

Before you ask- I got reference letter without letting a soul know my intentions. Manager has to approve my letter and did ask me what is it for- Great Lakes came to the rescue. "I am trying to apply for a distance learning course with them", I said. :P

Your call

I have told my boss throughout the whole process. This will allow me to ask for letters of recommendation, needed in job searches in Canada, from all of my colleagues, due to the fact that I am in good standing with the company.

I learned this week that if you make a mistake when you answer questions about previous visa refusals in your application form, it can be interpreted as misrepresentation and you can still be rejected and banned after PPR.
