Hello there friendly people☺i have a question. i submitted our application as family last october 12, Received oct 31, was return just yesterday jan 7,2020 (maybe because there
Was election then the holidays thats why it took so long for them to
Return?)
Nways, my question is,

1. one of my son is already 18 yrs old last decmbr, do i need to pay for the difference when i resubmit? Though it was not stated in the “incomplete” list that i need to
Comply.

2. I only reprint the page that they need the part of explanation (passport gap etc) the rest is as is. Is it ok?

3. I reprinted our physical presence calculator, signed and dated (first application i didnt realize it was cut off so i didnt know it has to be signed and dated)
Question: is it ok that i change the date from july 2018(start of application,i printed july 18 and wasnt able to complete the entire application not until october) to october 1st week? Since i passed the entire application october 12.
And they receive it oct 31.

(number of days present is way over than the required days needed,so
Will it be ok if i change the start date of my application in the physical presence calculator?

Hi Eyeskye,
First I'm sorry to hear that your application is returned and I feel what you are going through as I had a similar expierince but think that this happened for the good.

Here is my view:

1- Your son application should be an adult application now as the new application you will send is completely different than the returned one. In such case, you have to prepare his application similar to yours including fees of course, physical presence calculator, language requirements, etc...
Please note that moving on with your application he will need to do the knowledge test and comply with language requirements as well.

2- Yes, however please see answer for point 3 that may change this "Yes".

3- I highly recommend that you do the physical calculator based on the new date you will resend your application again (In Jan 2020) as this will give you extra buffer days (we are talking about 3 months here from Oct-Jan), this buffer is so helpful. This means that you have to sign the physical presence form again with the new date (I recommend the day you will send the new application on), and also this will mean you would need to change the application form its self as it has a section where you mention the days of the physical presence too.

I hope this helps.

All the best.
