Why did it have validity until December if your co-op ended August? You can only work full-time on implied status if you have applied for the PGWP, unless the rules have changed since I got my PGWP.
The work term visa was up to Dec 31 but the co-op was rolled over to a full-time job by Aug 23

That's very strange. Even though I and some of my classmates got jobs offered to them, we still had to finish all the coop to actually graduate.
I guess you misunderstood.
I applied for work term / co op visa and got it for the duration of my study visa which was until 31st December
My co op was from May to August. During the co op, a vacancy turned up and they told me to fill up that position. It was my last semester too
I was asked to join on September 23rd. I was supposed to apply for PGWP by then but due to certain issues, I could only apply by 23rd November but since I have my co op visa, I continued to work from Sep 23 itself.

Ok i don't think you actually said it was from may to august, but anyhow.

From my understanding you can only work on a coop work visa when you are on a coop that's why it is called a coop visa. Since you had not applied for the PGWP until november you were not on implied status and not studying. I don't think this is authorized work, but you may get away with it as for some reason they gave you the coop permit up to december. Hopefully they will overlook it

I'm hoping so too but I want to also know how to get this straightened. I assume I have to clearly state this issue for further applications. I hate breaking rules personally and hence this is eating me up everyday.

I was in a slightly different situation. I got offerred a job at the company i was doing the coop in. Study permit and coop were finishing at same time, si i had to put a bit of pressure on the college to give me transcripts before permits finished as at that time we needed a valid study permit to apply for PGWP. I had the app all ready just to put the transcripts in. Got them on the last day!

Lucky you. I waited almost a month after I finished my course to get all the documents from my university. It just sucks to pay for someone else's fault..

I really hope you guys can help me with this

I finished my studies ( 2 years diploma ) and now I m waiting for my college to process my diploma and transcript in order to apply for pgwp. I just got a new job last week, I worked full time for a week until I realized I’m only allowed to work part time while waiting for program completion documents so I switched my hours to part time. The lawyer i spoke with says i should be fine, but i just wanted to have your opinions about that, I was concerned the week i worked might hurt pgwp application. Others told me not declare that in my application. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Am I in trouble for working part-time on-campus (see point 2 below) before applying for PGWP (see point 5 below)?
If yes, What can/should I do to fix my situation? Thank you in advance.

1) Final Exam date -- Fri 23/Aug/2019
2) Started Part-Time Professor position at the same college on Wed 4/Sep/2019. A 13hrs/week contract.
3) Course Completion Letter issued and received == Thu 12/Sep/2019 == 1 Year Ontario College Certificate == Completion Date in the letter is 24/Aug/2019
4) Official Transcript issued == Tue 17/Sep/2019
5) Applied online for PGWP == Mon 7/Oct/2019 == my imm5710e shows I started working as per point 2
6) Study Permit expires == Sat 30/Nov/2019

There's no reason for you to worry. It's only a week. Even if they check, they do an average not everyday work hours.

Thank you, that's what my lawyer said too, my transcript doesn't show any gaps, i was full time in college for 3 years, did not fail any course and everything in the application makes sense so there's not red flags
