Welcome to the club, my application is also one year old and I haven't even started the bgc yet. I hope we can have some news this month. You can also ask for the notes.
Yes, I ordered the notes too early ... I was told to order at 9 months if we hadn't heard anything and we hadn't for several months, so ordered but they don't tell us much at all, plus they take more than a month to get to you! So nothing to do but wait.

I would really appreciate it if they could file their applications in order of when the medicals are going to expire, so that they could be working on those first instead of costing the applicants more money (re-doing their medical exams) for basically nothing except a date ... or they could simply extend the dates for a couple of months in those instances. There are so many things about their systems that sucks!!

I also ordered the notes in month 5 and it was a waste of time, there was absolutely nothing. The day my application turned a year I requested them again I hope to receive news before the notes arrive ...

The medicals sometimes give an extension, but how VO is so unpredictable you don't know if our case is like that. Im personally tired of all this, it is such an unfair system and a mockery for us, how it is possible that an application passes the year and does not even to wait for an interview...

Our PA's are from a group of "unwanted" , or what they gonna call "suspicious" but they will never say this publically.

I don't wanna sound alarmist or negative , but that's the actual situation.

As per example like mine :

Application Received in Feb 2019 : (all is done biometric criminality passed , medical too..) You are finally sent to Mexico VO with a PA from Central America at end of October 2019 (9th month)... how may you have a chance that it's gonna be over by February 2020 (12 months) ? , let's be realistic chances are almost 0.

So we have to prepare for going over...

So you think they care of ppl having to redo medicals??? (ends in April 2020) it's a business.

Estimated remaining processing time: 43 Day(s)

let me laugh ... Not yet AOR2 from Mexico , they say it's "started processing" for what it means... but i'm sure it's not yet even opened. so all done in 43 days ? lol never , security checks on our wave is not even yet started as fast as i know. and eligibility at VO either.

Yes, at the end we will pass, but they keep us waiting and waiting way longer. It's not that surprising , part of the culture "PC". hypocrite and all, is not new

Yes is frustrating cause we see a bunch passing in a few months and majority of cases from "some countries" been scrutinized for months and months which lead to go def over the 12 months but majority of times , no valid reason.

Feels like there's a lot of cynical people in here. The reality of the situation is that India has been streamlined due to the sheer volume of Indian applicants, and that the Mexico City VO has to deal with basically all of Latin America. Yes, they should be more clear with us from the start that it's not realistically to be done within 12 months, but most of us are in the final few months. Nothing we can do but be patient.

My notes were always useless , right at the end they became helpful and only to show me that the background check had indeed been in progress for months
Hang in there , it comes to an end I promise you ☺

It's not to be cynical , it's totally unfair that's what is the situation and i'm not just talking about indians streamlined. I can feel people frustration, i'm not yet at one year mark but starting not to find this super amazing already so just imagining those of august and all that nothing have been said like amanda.

I guess what i don't like is they say 80% of applications are finished by 12 months... and the others are considered "complex" which is wrong.. it's the vo that can't do them on time in the majority of cases.

Obviously if you open the envelop on month 11th or 12th you def won't have finished working on it, i don't think that's to title your application as "complex" cause of their lack of staff.

Yeah, I can agree that they shouldn't tell us up front its 12 months, providing a goal they can't realistically hit. They need help down there. It's especially frustrating for us because we don't hear anything for months on end. There has been one period where I didn't hear anything for 5 months and now this time for 2 months. But alas, we can only be patient. We are in the final stage and be thankful that we aren't just starting out.

I'm curious to know , do those notes included clues or an interview was required ? such as in

"they tell us those facts, but i'm not satisfied that it's genuine. Review is recommended" idk??

Just said review required , but everything else was positive , what tipped me off to interview was case analyst review

Interesting... gonna have to look if i order those things for a second time now that the process is at almost 11 months.... i hate giving them money even if it's just 5$ for getting none info in extra... and i'm not even sure they started really something at Mexico.

i mean Case analyst review ?? thought it was for every case that an analyst needed to approve the application..not necesserily an interview case.

It is frustrating. But there is nothing we can do. Literally other than patiently wait there is nothing else. If they need more information they will let us know. If they require and interview they will let us know. We get no details in emails or webform replies. We are left at their mercy, loll. So lets not lose hope. There are some who started after us and their process has moved on faster than us. For example Patvicto my wifes application was recieved April 15th and went to the Mexico VO on the 10th of October. We have had no update. Someone else from Guyana has the same timeline as us. October 10th in Mexico VO November 29th they got their PPR. We just have to wait it out.

I have no clue what any of it means , I just know that we are finished we are happy and I want the same for all of you . The process drained me
