Work history:
Company A:
May 2014 - Oct 2015
2015-2017 gap cause I did MBA.
Rejoined same company june 2017- Aug 2018 (Left due to med reasons)

Company B:
June 2019-Current.

So there are two gaps one is 2015-2017(Was pursuing MBA) and other is from aug 2018 - may 2019(Medical reasons).

How much work experience can I show in EE profile? Can I show all 3 years+??
I worked as a software tester in all above mentioned companies.
I am from India.

Yes. For foreign work experience, all Type 0/A/B years count towards points, as long as you have the one continuous year for eligibility.

So the gap wont wont matter? If i have 1.5 yrs experience in company A gap of few months and then 1.5 yrs company B can I show 3 years of experience?

Also what if 3 months experience in company C and 9 months in company D? Can i show this as 1 full year?

No, it won't matter; yes, you can show three years of experience; and yes, you can show that as one full year. XD These are all full-time (at least 30 hours per week) positions in the same NOC, right?

Basically, there are two things to consider when we talk about work experience: eligibility and points. To be eligible for EE, you need at least one continuous year at the same company, ideally in the same position. This is the one where you can't have any gaps. For claiming points for three years, it's the total number of years you have worked ever, regardless of gaps.

Yeah they are in same noc software testing/game testing. Yes all are full time.

Quite surprised to know we can club experience which is months not years, after the basic 1 year full experience that is.

Yes, I was surprised too. I wasn't expecting they'd combine all the months together, but I'm glad they do. For my 4011 jobs, they're usually nine-month renewable contracts that don't cover the summer, so if they only consider full years, I'm basically screwed. I'd have like one year of work experience. XD

Hi, I have 2 years 9 months work experience in Company A and then 1 month gap, now have 3 months work experience from company B
Will the total be considered as 3 Years work experience for FSW. Outside Canada.
