The US embassy said because of privacy laws they can't reveal too much too me. They will never admit such a mistake in writing to me. They said migration officers should contact us and that's what I wrote in the reply. They have no way to prove the allegations against me and so my laywer has argued in the end that if the 5-year ban is applied even though I'm innocent we will go for a judicial review. However I think I should gain pr without much hiccups from now. Only worried about that CSS, but you're right can't do anything about it.

I brought a Canadian based lawyer on board because this is my one chance to defend myself properly. I didn't want to face the horror of refusal with 5 year ban even though I was completely innocent.. I attached evidences such as screenshot of official embassy number that the call came from, my valid visa which has no signs of attempted entry to US, as well as affidavit from father who was granted visa with me and is witness to me never travelling to US. Also attached the support request sent to US embassy.
I'm hoping I wont have to fight this in court, even though they can bring no evidence against me there as I never utilized that visa.
No the whole family was directly approved. Embassy personnel also told me visas were presently valid.
The personnel hinted of "refusal or entry" error, not visa refusal error. So basically maybe a person of my name was refused entry and they put it in my name of something. I'm pretty sure the embassy wouldn't have called me back in the first place had they actually not made a blunder.
PFL says "Information available to me indicates that you were refused entry or refused a visa to the United States in 2017." Embassy confirmed error related to "refusal of entry to US", not visa refusal.
Visa refusal and entry refusal are different things. When you go to get a visa and are denied in embassy (or online), that is visa refusal. When after you receive visa (approval) and you fly to destination country and they refuse you entry on border, that is refusal of entry. So embassy personnel confirmed it being error in refusal of entry, because of course my visa was granted in 2017 and not refused.
@artificial.nocturne it’s been 5 months now since my SS started. I was wondering how much time does it it take for the CBSA to complete the security clearance process and how long did them take to complete your background checks?
Mine took 6 months plus one month for my visa office to pick up my file. Total 7.
I got generic reply that routine background checks are in progress.

@artificial.nocturne bro IRCC recently updated their funds requirement for settlement. My eligibility is cleared as per Ralph and a call to IRCC, am i also required to update the funds accordingly? Please bro give your opinion.
You don't have to worry about it anymore as your Eligibility is cleared, but when you travel it would be wise to carry the cash/money as per new proof of funds requirement just to be on the safe side. No action is needed from you at this part of the application processing, you must wait for instructions from IRCC like re-med or ppr etc.
