Hello. I was on visitor visa in Canada of 10yrs. then I got work visa converted for 2year. now after my work permit is going expire soon. can I stay in Canada back on visitor visa for 6month. if yes,how can I do this.
Obviously you must stop working when your work permit expires. Then use below process to extend your stay as a visitor, apply at least 30 days before your work permit expires. Once you submit the application you would be on implied visitor status until decision made

A visa is a stamp in a passport and has nothing to do with status in Canada. You had visitor status and now have worker status. Prior to your worker status expiring, you need to apply to change your status to visitor.
