Bio repete cases happen. run a search on forums and you will come across several. Why this happened ? We have no right to ask this question. We have to follow orders till we get our work done.Hi,
Does anyone have an experience or heard about biometrics repeat? My parents did biometrics at vac centre in dubai mid sep and I got a letter from cic end of nov that biometric cannot be verified because of quality issue for both my dad and my mom and they asked for the biometric to be repeated. There is no vac centre in the country my parents live and last time I paid 1500 cad dollar for travel fees.
Is there a chance to bargain and ask cic to revertify and accept with the current quality?
The cause of the issue is not explained, it can be elderly have a disappearing fingerprints or the vac scanners as both were not accepted!
It appears that for back ground check purpose they change voMy parents are here with me and their file got transferred to NDVO at background checks stage. Ottawa receiving date is 10 May. Addl docs sent to Mississauga on 02 Oct against their generic mail of 27 Sep. File transferred on 29 Nov and changed from In Process to Application Received. It's still the same.
Mississauga VO gives email address to submit soft copies of originals and take it as original. If they doubt forgery they may order hard copy.@robertp medical and PCC request Dec 30.
Anyone knows if we can email an electronic copy of the PCC? I believe not, in that case might have to submit via VFS.
It should not impact the application. It is not a condition that requires ongoing long term treatment.
Yes, that's what I also feel. My dad had worked in Iraq and Kuwait in 70s and 80s and has extensive travel history. It appears that for back ground check purpose they change vo
Thank you so much for your response. So, just to confirm that my understanding is correct, I have to wait to file 3 years of taxes before I can sponsor my parents - Right? Yes, my husband did not sponsor me, I entered Canada through skilled labor express entry program. If you did not get sponsored by your husband, which it seemed like you were not from reading your post, you can sponsor your own parents.
HOWEVER, you have not filed taxes for 3 years yet so I don't think you are qualified to become a sponsor. You have to be the one who sponsor your own parents, your husband cannot sponsor yours (his in-law), he can only be co-signer. This is based on the current rules, which might change in the future. Keep checking the website for information.
As per the current rule, what you thought is correct. You as the sponsor need to file taxes for 3 years preceding the application.Thank you so much for your response. So, it doesn't count if the co-signer (my husband) has filed taxes for 3 or more years, it has to be the main sponsor who files the taxes for at least 3 years?
Appreciate it!
I flagpoled myself back when I became a PR.Now that we have the Passport in hand... my next big question - Has anyone here Flag-poled their parents to attain PR?
I just have a question the next time you are entering and they ask you have you ever been refused entry to USA, would you say no or yes to that question?I flagpoled myself back when I became a PR.
In my personal experience, the process is quite simple. As soon as you tell the US border agent that you are there to flag pole they will direct you to the side and gave you what they called "administrative refusal" (yellow paper) document. You were then directed back toward the Canadian border where they will do the required paperwork.
The agent did advice me that this would not affect future entries into the US.I just have a question the next time you are entering and they ask you have you ever been refused entry to USA, would you say no or yes to that question?
