Addl docs sent to Mississauga on 02 Oct against their generic mail of 27 Sep. File transferred on 29 Nov and changed from In Process to Application Received. It's still the same.
It appears that for back ground check purpose they change vo

Now that we have the Passport in hand... my next big question - Has anyone here Flag-poled their parents to attain PR?

What would be implication of large inguinal hernia noted on physical examination in medical
It should not impact the application. It is not a condition that requires ongoing long term treatment.

In cases where the hernia gets incarcerated then you need surgery.

A herniorraphy is the definitive surgical treatment for indirect or direct inguinal hernias. Relatively simple and cheap.

You should be good.

If you did not get sponsored by your husband, which it seemed like you were not from reading your post, you can sponsor your own parents.
HOWEVER, you have not filed taxes for 3 years yet so I don't think you are qualified to become a sponsor. You have to be the one who sponsor your own parents, your husband cannot sponsor yours (his in-law), he can only be co-signer. This is based on the current rules, which might change in the future. Keep checking the website for information.
Thank you so much for your response. So, just to confirm that my understanding is correct, I have to wait to file 3 years of taxes before I can sponsor my parents - Right? Yes, my husband did not sponsor me, I entered Canada through skilled labor express entry program.
So, it doesn't count if the co-signer (my husband) has filed taxes for 3 or more years, it has to be the main sponsor who files the taxes for at least 3 years?
Appreciate it!

As per the current rule, what you thought is correct. You as the sponsor need to file taxes for 3 years preceding the application.
You can consult the website to know about the current rule and use the eligibility calculator to confirm.

I flagpoled myself back when I became a PR.
In my personal experience, the process is quite simple. As soon as you tell the US border agent that you are there to flag pole they will direct you to the side and gave you what they called "administrative refusal" (yellow paper) document. You were then directed back toward the Canadian border where they will do the required paperwork.

I just have a question the next time you are entering and they ask you have you ever been refused entry to USA, would you say no or yes to that question?

The agent did advice me that this would not affect future entries into the US.
There's no harm in telling them that I got an administrative refusal when I landed in Canada. They seemed to be aware of what flag-poling is when I told them. I do not think this will cause any problems.

Bio repete cases happen. run a search on forums and you will come across several. Why this happened ? We have no right to ask this question. We have to follow orders till we get our work done.
My parents have fingerprint issue as their fingerprint is lose. Even when at the bank they need to use the fingerprint to open their deposit box it doesn't work and the bank clerk has to bring the key. Did anyone have the experience to explain the lose fingerprints to IRCc?

Do not pay. wait for CIC request. (I don't think VO will request another Bio .)
I had the same case my dad had bio in 2013 and it showed valid till 2023 initially under mycic but they asked for bio again. And now they asked for another bio repeat as well. Means he had to do it three time (once for visitor in 2013 and twice for pr)
