Whats the process for getting PR or Passport for my child whose born in India

I was wondering whats the process to get either PR or Passport for my new born baby in India

I'm permanent resident of canada and so is my wife

Can someone help me here please

One of you will have to be in Canada to file for PR for your child.

Processing time is 5-11 months. Outland sponsorship of a dependent. All information is available online. Would suggest you apply as soon as possible. Is your wife already in Canada? If not you have to worry about her RO. In many provinces your child won’t qualify for healthcare coverage so that is another reason to start the process.

Just to add that you probably need to of course fisrt get a passport for the child and then start the sponsorship application.
