Travel to Canada without PR Card

My PR card has been approved and mailed to the address that I gave. I am planning to visit Canada for the New Year, but I do not have the PR card with me. But my Canada tourist visa is still valid. Can I travel to Canada on my tourist visa and then collect my PR card?

Assume you can't. Your TRV was most likely canceled once you became a PR and you won't be able to use it to board an airplane. Assumg you need to apply for a PRTD to return or have your PR card couried to you outside of Canada.
