Hi, I've recently applied for PGWP and I have completed a one year PG diploma from Ontario. My study permit is valid for another 4 months. I'm waiting for the decision. In the meantime I'm working full time and it falls under NOC B. I have two questions:

1) Will the experience gained during the implied status counted toward Express Entry?

2) Even If the experience gained during the implied status doesn't count, hopefully I would receive one year PGWP. Considering I work for entire duration that is 1 year, starting from the first day to the last day of my work permit. I would gain one year experience. However, if I submit my application for EE after completion of one year, I wouldn't have any status in the country. What after that? DO I have to go back to my country and wait for the EE result because my employer has already hinted they cannot help me in extension of PGWP. Does the employer plays important role in PGWP extension?

1) Yes.
2) A PGWP cannot be extended - even with employer help. If you want to continue working and at that point haven't been selected for PR and submitted your complete application, your employer would need to obtain an approved LMIA so that you can switch to a closed work permit. The LMIA is a long and involved process, as well as expensive - most employer aren't willing to do it. Keep in mind that simply having 1 year of work experience doesn't mean you will be selected for PR. This will also depend on how many points you have under EE or if you can get a nomination from a province (for EE you need to have aroun 470+ points right now to be selected). Yes - returning home is one option if you cannot stay and work. You can also change your status to visitor and stop working. This is why 1 year programs are a poor choice. Far better to take a 2 year program to qualify for a 3 year PGWP.

That would say 1-year master course is useless too ... (except that 1000 master stream quota ...)

All my master application are 1 year ...
