1 year online certificate from a Canadian university!

Would a 1 year certificate program from a Canadian university or college be considered “a Canadian diploma or degree”?
So would I be able to get points when asked in EE if I was awarded a canadian degree? Would I be able to answer yes? Even if it’s distance learning?

Does online course from Canadian university count as a "Canadian degree" so you could get extra points in order to apply through EE?

i dont think a 'canadian degree' offers more points than a degree from any other country.

It does for sure. What I am not sure of is if I could answer "Yes" to "4b) Have you earned a Canadian degree, diploma, or certificate?" in CRS tool for EE, with a certificate/diploma/master's degree from an online course of Canadian institute.

You need to be physically present in canada for 8 months to get the points

4b) Have you earned a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate?

Note: to answer yes:

• English or French as a Second Language must not have made up more than half your study
• you must not have studied under an award that required you to return to your home country after graduation to apply your skills and knowledge
• you must have studied at a school within Canada (foreign campuses don’t count)
• you had to be enrolled full time for at least eight months, and have been physically present in Canada for at least eight months
