No fixed time period, can very from few weeks to few months. Such kind of applications normally take 2 to 6 months.

I also assumed that. But thing is its been 8 months now and no updates.

Dec 31, Final decision says your application was approved on Dec 15.
Does it mean they stamped visa on Dec 31?

I really appreciate if someone can answer or share experience about this situation. My parents applied for visitor visa a month ago. As my father is a retired police officer, they sent a request to upload additional information about the military service. We uploaded it immediately but haven't heard from them since. Then we emailed and they said the application needs additional processing and we can withdraw if we want. Is it possible for the application to be rejected because he worked at police? In case if my father's one gets rejected, will that affect my mother's application? They applied together and mother as a spouse applicant.

Hey how many days did it take for IRCC to start reviewing additional information? and how many days it took for them after status change to your final decision? I uploaded additional information March 23 and it still says "information uploaded"
