Hello all,
I see a lot of people helping and I need your advice folks,
I'd a planned trip to attend in person interview with a potential employer-huge well known company-
They decided to invite me,
And as you expect my request has been denied based on:
- not satisfied you'll return based on your purpose of the visit
- based on your employment prospect s in your country.

I hope valid US B1 , had been to US three times
Traveled to Europe for a short visit and back with schengen.

The employer sent to me another almost similar invitation letter stating they'll take care of all the cost; flight and accommodation

Honestly i don't know my chances to get it if I reapply.

I never been rejected to visa required country before and it's totally upsetting me because you know it's an important visit, I'll stay for 4 days for that
I've a lot of commitments back home ,

Not sure how to address the officer's concerns for that.

Any advice
Thank you

As you have already put on record that you are coming for an interview, lying about the purpose would be a very bad idea.

I didn't mean lying of course, but I really have some friends out there, can't one go for another reason, it isn't only only reason to visit after all.
or I'll just need to forget this opportunity :(
BTW the employer was very surprised about the rejection, and me too because I'd a another visa to Europe for the same reason,
previously Canada had a short term single entry visa which I'd before for a business trip back in 2010 for one month but now don't see why they cancelled that and even denied me with my travel history which shows, I come back
have no clue what to do,
I understand from your replies to Just forget about it :(

Where are you from? Have you ever overstayed other visas or other red flags? Do you have sufficient personal saving like 10-15k?

Thank you for the reply
- I'm from Egypt,
- Never overstayed or had any issues within my previous trips.
- personal savings in cash, you mean ? I provided an HR letter with my net salary which is pretty highly paid in my country, also I've some immovable assets - which i didn't submit documents for- never thought I'm going to be rejected (never happened to me)
most of the cash are invested in something anyway :)
do you think i also need cash savings as you mentioned 10-12K ?

Unfortunately there are quite a few people claiming asylum from Egypt so that would be one concern and if you have very little liquid assets that will also be a problem. How would you actually settle in Canada without a decent amount of liquid cash?

I understand these concerns of course,
I thought US visa and schengen with my travel history as we as HR letter with my salary - which is very highly paid- will show I'm not the one who will leave behind,
I can print another bank statement shows some liquid cash savings about 10k,
If that happen what is advice ?

Would order GCMS notes to see if you can address the exact reasons for refusal.

You can order it online. Would search the forum or do a google search for the companies who facilitate this. The reasons for rejection should go into more detail but it is up to you.
