yes but not a police clearance certificate
it should be a certificate stating the details about your lost passport and confirming that you have indeed lost it its just to make sure you are not hiding anything from CIC try searching the web for lost passport certificate for your country
so use that cert in place of the lost passport and attach the ones you have

if you are applying through paper you must but if you are applying online you only need to attest documents that arent officical like affidavits, statements written by you etc etc

ok, I am sorry for asking simple questions. but i am kinda new to this process..
I will be applying online. so should i attest:
1. study plan requested by the VAC
2. my resume (i will prepare this to show the one yr gap in education)
3. job offer letter, marksheets, bank statements, property docs, passport copies, other official docs etc.

I will be applying online. so should i attest:
1. study plan requested by the VAC
2. my resume (i will prepare this to show the one yr gap in education)
3. job offer letter, marksheets, bank statements, property docs, passport copies, other official docs etc.

none of these things need to be attested since you will scan and upload the original ones
study plan is not something that you can use to prove something everything you write in SOP must match with the other original docs you upload like you can say i own this property if you write this the officer expects original docs same goes for the Resume
attestation is only required for affidavits like property declarations etc

leave them empty and press the validate button at the top after filling the form that will make sure that you havent left some necessary field blank

Not if you can prove how he will fund you and explain why is he funding you

yes all your old passports and visas must be attached

The empty pages of the old passports need not be submitted right? Only the filled pages.
Also, all the pages (empty ones included) of the current passport should be submitted, right?

no no you dont have to upload empty pages of any passports current or new
upload the 1st two pages and any page that is stamped for all passports you own

Well obviously you have to use from the country you are citizen of you wont have an identity card if you arent a citizen

It shouldn't be a problem but two things to keep in my - you have to submit the proof of relationship and the you have to prove how will they fund you and if its a loan or grant by your uncle.
I have seen many refusals like these where applicant just simply failed to prove the relationship between them and their sponsor.
