It has been my understanding that evidence like this is passed to specialists to research. I doubt a single CBSA officer would be left with the duty of fully evaluating such info on the spot. It had better be convincing.

I am not sure of the precise flow at airports. One question they WILL ask you, is have you tried moving within your country to avoid the problems you are having. If you have not searched it could be rejection. The reason can NOT be I live in bad conditions or can't get a job. These are comfort issues, not life and death asylum issues. Do you feel you want a better government of more freedom? This is not really a reason for asylum either. Think your country is a mess? It doesn't matter. This is not accepted as a valid issue. You have to prove literally that you move or die. This must be explained through a combination of media preferably.

The persecution of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar is well-documented, and because of that, I thought refugee claims from this group might be eligible for the simplified process (just a review of the file, or a short hearing). There are currently about 25 countries on that list, but unfortunately Myanmar is not yet one of them, probably due to the small number of claims. However, since you have a visitor visa to enter Canada, you will be able to make a refugee claim via the regular process. Even though there are a lot of reports in the international media about the persecution of Muslims in Myanmar, you will still need to convince the Immigration and Refugee Board that you have been personally affected. Wishing you good luck as I can imagine how stressful this is for you.

If you have the visa and the ticket, simply claim at the immigration desk at the airport. They will walk you through the process. There will be forms to fill, but the BOC can come later. The CBSA officer will make an initial assessment. Ensure you have reasonable evidence available to you, specifically related to your personal situation. Everyone knows the issue with the Rohingya, but what your specific issues are is their concern.

Thank u so much for ur reply and wish.. i donate some money to Rohingha people (not personally to give them) i gave to mosque and they will send to them. I am living in Yangon main city and Rohinghas are in border of Myanmar and Bangladish.. and i am one of the person of volunteer in helping to Rohingha team.. maybe coz of that police came to my house and asked? Luckily that day i was not at home.. but now my family received the letter from our village counsil that my father should bring me to the police station.. thats why i m so scared and hiding in my friend house. If they caught me they will torture me. Even they can rape me.Now my father inquiry for me near our area police station about my case and he heard that now police preparing for Warrant to catch me. But not yet issue. So is that letter from (village counsil) can be show to immigration officer for evidance? I really dont know wht to do.. i am not a Rohingha but i am muslim girl who lived in myanmar.. i am even educated person.. i never think my life will turn like this..

Still quite surprising that you would already have Abeen granted a TRV already. Getting a visa from from Canada if you live in Myanmar would be pretty tough.
