after you receive you LMIA file number it should take around 2 months till you get your interview.

I applied on 27th November 2018 and received file number on 1st feb 2019. More than 2 months it took. Can you pls mention ur noc and province u applied in

submitted LMIA on September 19th, 2018
file # received on October 1st, 2018.

NOC 1215, Ontario.

Received a call from Service Ontario last week, the interview appointment was booked for Tuesday February 5th..

We have been waiting for the interview call for 2 hours and no one called us (I believe that they just forgot to call us back). We tried to call the phone # that they gave us as a contact number however no one picked up the phone. We left 3 voice messages asking to call us back..

Please advise if someone had the same situation? Shall I wait when they will call us back again?

LMIA Applied in Ontario under NOC - 2174 ( Computer programmers and interactive media )

a) Applied - 25 September 2018
b) Interview - 23 April 2019
c) ESDC asked for review - 17 May 2019
d) Supporting Documents Submitted on - 24 May 2019

No decision or reply received till today

Employer has also filed appeal for no response a month ago , No hearing date out yet .

Anyone in same situation with such a delay

My employer done with interview on 22Nov2019 . Yesterday employer called service canada for decision letter ,they advised still decision has to be made . Anyone know how much time they take to make decisions ?

I have worked in ON province for 1 year already and decide to apply this project.

Get file number: 2019/06/27
Received email from officer asking further information: 2019/09/19
Phone interview: 2019/09/24
Approved positive letter: 2019/09/26 !!!

Total 3 Months ! Praise the Lord !

20 october: job advertisement
24 November : documents submitted at service canada
06 dec: interview call( they needed one addional document) submitted right away just after the call.
07 dec : positive LMIA
High skilled job eligible for result in 10 business days.

They will always call the employer, you won't get any calls. The call is usually around the position of the candidates for which LMIA is applied

Many people say it just takes 1-2 months only. Is there anyone who got it in 1-2 months? 4 months to 1 years seems to be a long period of time.
