Hi, We are expecting ITA in the 1st half of March 2020 and my wife is also expecting delivery during the same time outside canada. We both have completed our medicals in canada recently.

So by any chance if my baby is born before i receive an ITA, then I can add my baby details in the application. But if my baby is born after i receive an ITA, then i might not be able to add the details.

In such scenario, where I add my baby details in the application form before i receive an ITA, it might take time to get the passport and other details within 60 days. What is the process and how can i inform CIC about it and how about the medicals that need to be done for the baby born outside canada.

Likewise, if my baby is born after i receive an ITA what is the process that i need to follow to get through it.

Thanks for your advise!

The ITA date is irrelevant. What matters is PR submission date. If the child is born prior to submitting your app, you must include him/her. Of the child is born after submission, then you just send a Webform and IRCC will request further documents.

You don't add the child to your profile after the ITA. You just submit the PR app with the child included. You must have the child's medical done before submission.

Hey, You are expecting an ITA before June 2020, and you finished the medicals in Dec 2019? I hope you are aware the medicals expire in 12 months and mostly processing times till PPR are 5 to 7 months nowadays.

Also another question, since you are expecting a child by June 2020, the mother might have completed her first trimester already? Did the doctor complete the xray? if not anyways your medicals will be put on hold!!
