Applied for BOWP on September 22nd and I got it approved on December 27th. It took 96 days for processing. How long is it before getting it in the mail?

Likely still a month to get an approval.

If you are travelling outside Canada, you would need TRV Stamp to get back to Canada otherwise I don't see any need to get TRV.
Once your eligibility is pass, CIC will ask for your passport to give you a visa to land anyways.

If you are travelling outside Canada, you would need TRV Stamp to get back to Canada otherwise I don't see any need to get TRV.
Once your eligibility is pass, CIC will ask for your passport to give you a visa to land anyways.
