Hi All,
I received passport request for my son from New Delhi visa office.
My son is on TRV in Canada.
Should I send the passport to cpc Ottawa since in the mail it is mentioned ‘ of residing in Canada for the next three months’ send to cpc Ottawa.

Just follow the directions. It says to send to Ottawa if in Canada.

I need to sponsor my Indian newborn too. Did you apply TRV and applied for PR in India??

1. How much time did it take?
2. Was TRV issued without issues? did u say that you will apply for PR in your TRV?

Hi,
I started the pr process for my son in March. In June I applied for TRV and mentioned in the cover letter that his PR is in process. I got the TRV without any issues.

Hi @amis Thanks for the reply.

- Did you submit paper based application from Canada? ( I read that the parent has to reside inside Canada to sponsor ) so how did you get passport request from New delhi then?

- Could you please share your timeline on medical and other processes after submitting PR application...

- Is there a reason why you did not get visitor visa first and then apply for PR?

My spouse was in Canada to sponsor my child while I was in India.

I thought applying for PR first would help me getting visitor visa without issues.
