"It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent
residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class.
Furthermore, we are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been
completed. The Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada office in ****** will contact you to arrange an appointment for the finalization of your permanent resident application."
Is this decision made or Approval in Principle?
I'm also very frustrated for you guys that are still waiting for the OWP, it's just ridiculous and almost unacceptable. And I do hope everyone gets some sort of response before Christmas nears! How are you all so calm? I'd be freaking out if I already got AIP/SA. You're at the finish line!
I sent copies of both my driver's license and my husband's. I didn't get them notorized and we didn't have any problemsI have question. I sent our license as a new address proof. Do I need to notarized it before I send it to them? Because I haven't done that. I just Sent it.
Please Help.
For a while, the Vancouver office was taking a month or more just to schedule interviews, so I was cautiously excited when I got my AIP. It's a bummer to get excited and then still have weeks and weeks to wait. Seems like that backlog is mostly clear now (had my landing interview on Dec 5 in Vancouver) but that was definitely why I wasn't jumping for joy after AIP. It's more...relief.How are you all so calm? I'd be freaking out if I already got AIP/SA. You're at the finish line!
Yeah it would be an amazing christmas present getting SA/AIP right about now, and even to those who are waiting for their OWP too. I just hope things come to an end for us soon so we can relax and enjoy having PR. But I do have a question about the interview stage (whenever that happens) as I noticed on the IRCC website there's only offices in Ottawa/Toronto area etc. As I am currently in Northern ontario I am to assume that I need to travel 8hrs+ to reach one of these offices? I just want to make sure since this is something i'd have to prepare for since I don't drive/nor my husband.Alright guys the week before Christmas week begins tomorrow... let's hope the agents want to finish up as many applications as possible before Christmas. Crossing my fingers for everyone!
You’ll get it soon! Mine did the same and by the end of the day it was approved.GUYS! Our OWP profile page updated - they are reviewing eligibility! ONLY TOOK 6 MONTHS.
