We forgot to submit the information of USA non immigrant visa refusal in our file. We got mail from Delhi embassy.they put 16(1) section over the file nd and asked us to reply within 30 days. We already got the pre-arrival letter.we have also sent the reply of misrepresentation. My question is that what are the chances of getting visa?

It's very hard to say once a PFL letter is received. Omitting a refusal from an application is an extremely serious matter. It's possible IRCC may accept your explanation and approve the visa. It's possible that you may be refused. Also possible that you may be refused and also issued a 5 year misrepresentation ban. Very hard to say - we've seen all three happen here.

You got pfl leeter after pre arrival or before that?

Ofcourse before PreArrival because of PFL is to proof genuine of your relation

No - PFL was sent because OP failed to declare a previous visa refusal. Nothing to do with proving the relationship is genuine.

I think they start security check after pre arrival.refusal visa is not related to eligibility.

No - PFL was sent because OP failed to declare a previous visa refusal. Nothing to do with proving the relationship is genuine.

I could be wrong but according to my knowledge every country's procedure is different

You're wrong unfortunately. A PFL could be in relation to anything the visa officer may think should cause the application to be refused.

That's incorrect. PFL can be issued for many different reasons where IRCC has an intent to deny the application - the procedure is not country-specific. In this case it was very clearly issued because the OP failed to declare a previous refusal. Again, absolutely nothing to do with proving the relationship is genuine in this case.

How do you "forget" a visa refusal when the forms clearly ask if you have ever been refused a visa to any country?

You need to mention each and every refusal in schedule A form . Don’t hide it. If you forgot to mention just send another new form through web form now .

I have agent who did it already. He sent cover letter too. The mistake happened when we did 2 forms one with pencil and one while writing with pen. It was really honest mistake. My lawyer's assistant was so rude and unhelpful.

My husband used to work on documents and send here in Calgary and then i used to send saskatoon . All this created mess i guess
