  • For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than six months before the submission of the e-APR.
  • For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant lived in that country.
According to the IRCC website - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

If you are in India - the PCC process will take just a few hours if there is no change in address or other details as per your passport. So I would suggest you to wait until ITA to apply for PCC.

I was issued PCC on Jan 3rd 2019 from Indian consulate. I live in Canada. How long is PCC valid as I’ll have to re-Apply for PR.

I have gone to India for a month
In that case, you may be asked for a new one:

"For any other country
For any other country, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row.

Some countries put expiry dates on their police certificates. If you have a police certificate that expired, include it. We’ll accept it if:

  • it was issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row
  • it is not for the country where you currently live
An officer may ask for a new one later on."
