Hi All,
I am working in Canada for more than a year now and I am on work permit. I applied for open spousal work permit for my wife. Embassy After working on for 4 months , refused the VISA. The reason they mentioned is below:
"Eligibility for the work permit in this category only applies to spouse or common-law partner of a work permit holder who is doing work that is at a level that falls within national occupational classification (NOC) skill levels 0, A or B"
But I do belong to NOC type "A" which I clearly mentioned in my application.
Can you please suggest what could be the issue here?
Thanks

What did you include in your application to show you are working in a NOC A job?

I have submitted my Work permit and one letter which was given to me by my company wherein company mentioned which type of work I am doing and I do fall under NOC type "A"

You should also include your three most recent payslips. What NOC code did you claim, and what did your letter say?

It's not enough to simply mention the NOC code - the letter has to prove that you're actually doing that job. It appears that whatever you submitted wasn't enough to prove it.

If you aren't willing to post the NOC and the contents of the letter, not much we can do to help.

Hi,

The content of the letter is mentioned below: This letter was written by my company.

"
We are writing in support of an application for a temporary “Open” work permit to be made by Ms. XYZ. She is a citizen of India. We believe that Ms. XYZ is eligible for an “Open” work permit based on the following criteria,

• Ms. XYZ is the spouse of Mr. ABC, who already holds a Work Permit to Canada valid till June 30, 2021, to work with Company Inc. Canada.
• Mr. / Ms. ABC is working in Canada under the Specialized Knowledge NOC Code which is a Skill level A occupation
• He currently has a work permit issued to him for more than 6 months in duration.

Further, we confirm that Mr. / Ms. ABC was transferred from company India to company Canada to assume the role of a Software Engineering Sr. Analyst. For this position, he is being remunerated at an annual salary of CAD $ XX, XXX.00.
Given that all the above criteria are met, I am requesting that Ms. XYZ be considered for a Spousal “Open” work permit.

you HAVE to include 3 payslips, this all is not worth anything without payslips
