Hi Guys, need some advise. I am in the process of sending inland spouse visa application from Alberta. I have a step son (10 year old) who will require a study visa until his mother gets OWP. My question is whether to send the study visa application with the spouse visa package or send it separately (or online as the option is available). Thanks

Is your step-son here as a visitor? Have you tried enrolling him in school? Many schools make exceptions for children here as visitors with PR apps in process, especially if there is a Canadian step-parent.

all, thanks for the reply. Yes, I did check with the school board but they are adamant to have a study visa for him even though I am a PR. They said they would enroll him conditionally as soon as we apply for the study visa and PR application. thanks
yes they are going to waive the fee. The irony is I am a school teacher in the same school district board and still they won't allow him...thanks anyways
