Thanks, Reshan! And thanks for letting me know regarding the immigration process once landed. It's my wife who will be coming here, so wanted to know so that she knows what to expect when she lands in Toronto. We are waiting to get her passport back, so hopefully she'll be able to come later this month.

On the Declaration Card that you had to fill out when you landed, did you put your Sri Lankan address or your spouses address here?

Hi, yeah no worries. Hope she will get the passport back soo . I put the canada address. It's not a form. It's a machine where you have to scan the passport and type in what you bringing in and then they will give you a ticket. You have to take that ticket to the CBSA counter with the passport and they will direct you from there. Not a big deal, just a simple process.

Can't get used this cold tho but I accepted the fact that it is cold from now on hahaha.

Thanks for clarifying. I haven’t travelled now in a few months, so I guess they finally switched to the digital screens finally, rather than filling out the paper forms.

Yea once you get use to it, it’s not so bad.

yes they are checking passport and visa genuineness
but they not ask about money how ever you must to declare in canada if you carry more then 10000 cad
