This is so hard! I don't want to put my hopes up since there are so many early sept AORs not getting PRs, but my AOR is only 3 days away from you!!!!

My work permit expired on 28th Sept, just 3 days after I applied for BOWP.

You can probably apply for a refund for your BOWP application fees.

Does everyone get a biometrics request? I received my MEP a month ago but no word on biometrics and I saw some people are asked for these the day after their medical is approved? CEC inland. Thanks!

Oddly enough it seems CIC seems to actively issuing PPRs between 3rd and 5th day of every month (at least for Nov and Dec) and seems to snooze for rest of the days of the whole month when it comes to processing CEC PR applications.

Do they refund once processing is started on the application?

I should at least have COPR/PR Card in process before I ask for refund, right?
PPR doesn't signifies anything in cic's opinion?

You can only do that after your COPR gets confirmed. But your BOWP has been already processed, it is better to call CIC and inquire regarding the BOWP fees refund.

I didn’t get the PPR yet - only BOWP approval. Sept 21
