My PR card expired recently and I started a renew in earlier November. After 2 weeks I sent the application package I realized that I forgot to put a copy of my old PR card. So I sent another package with all the required documents last week. The delivery showed that they had received the package last week but I haven't received the acknowledgment yet.
Here are my questions:

- Will they return my previous package which doesn't meet their document requirements? If so, how long does it usually take?
- I haven't got the acknowledgment for a while and it makes me worry about if I missed something this time. From your experience how long does it usually take between the date they receive the application and the date they send you the email acknowledgment?
