Once only cuz they wont renew it and yes it is way too hard to go for LMIA. I hope you will not have to choose that road and even if u go for LMIA u still have to leave country until u get the positive LMIA and then apply for the permit frm ur home country. So pray for the csq thats the only chance u have.
Or u can do one more thing. Apply for visitor record renewal. Send a paper application. Paper application takes 4 months to process. We know there is a chance they wont renew it but you will get 4 months. You will have implied status during this time and even after refusal u will be given 3 months so u have total of 7 months and u should get the csq within this time frame. Consult this with ur lawyer thats the only thing will save u frm keeping u in Canada legally or else u could risk ur csq if ur status become illegal. Me too applied jus a month before my permit was gonne expire and it gave me enough time(6 months validity plus the application processing time more than 3 months) for my lmia to be processed and applied for closed permit then.
Thank you so much for information .Actually i applied visitor extension 2 time before and now 2nd extension is going to expire and i am waiting for Csq ,then i just want to know that let suppose if i get csq within 2,3 months then can i live in Canada with only csq or again i have to apply visitor or work permit for valid status? because i thought may be if we submit file for PR then we can live until decision just like if we apply as a visitor or work permit then we can live for 3,4 months until final decsion.
If i have visitor then i cannot apply for closed work permit even once i get csq, because with csq you can only extend your PG work permit or renew it so in my case i cant apply i guess ,but there should be an other way to stay inside Canada while waiting for your decision??

Its called a linked permit or something not every lawyer knows about it you better call cic asap they will guide you. Keep all ur questions/concerns written on a piece of paper so u dont miss any information. They will guide you.
i heard one guy who got 2 year visitor extension with csq after expiration of PG work permit and visitor visa too ,they said if you have csq then you can take extension for staying in Canada upto 1 to 2 year until you get decision of your PR ,i dont know its exactly true or not
