Agreed but not paying and disputing may just cause unwanted delay! Whats more important is to get your loved one to come as soon as possible. Just my opinion!
HelloDon't worry, keep trying to login to CIC to check if it was entered. I was able to login before my sponsor received AOR1, we used Passport details.
I'd wait until end of this week and call IRCC just to check

enter the sponsor details...use "receipt number" option and put the entire number starting with R which is there on your payment PDF...
Thank you for this! I just check and there is nothing. How long does it usually take for AOR1? Im getting so worried. My application was received October 24, 2019.
I have just received a similar email and same thing; nothing changed when I logged in. Waiting for SA as well. Oct 21st applicant.
Its called a "ghost updated", applicants received this kind of emails sometime. probably an officer checked your file online but did not updated or add any new information.
I think that I am officially an October applicant now. We sent our application in April and got AOR1 in May and then we didn't get anything until October. They sent us an email that said that something was incomplete and instead of returning the application we would have the chance to submit newly filled out forms. We have no idea what actually was incomplete (we are sure that we didn't miss a signature) but after sending the two forms they asked for again, we now finally got SA, MR and BR.
I am joining this group now because their letter stated that our application was put back into the queue with the other new applications, so even though our application never got returned I guess we technically are not April applicants anymore.

I think you selected the option "Continue with the application" rather than withdrawing it...That's why they did not returned
Hi there! Maybe try to call them up and follow up what is the status of your application. Did that the last time when they ask for the Receipt Number when I dont have my AOR yet.
Sent my application 10.25.2019 they Received it 10.28.2019 received my AOR Nov.21.2019 ECAS: 11.20.2019. And right now still waiting for the next step.
Yes, we did. But I thought that they would still return it if there is a major mistake. It took them 6 months to tell us which seems weird and we only got progress after ordering GCMS notes which said that the application was incomplete the day they sent out AOR and on the phone when they told us that it seems to be incomplete, they said that it is unusual to not hear anything from them as in either getting the application returned or getting a request for additional documents. Anyways, I am happy that it is finally moving along. My medical is scheduled for Friday and hopefully I can get my biometrics done on the same day. I couldn't get an appointment but I am going to walk in and see if they have time for me.
