I am in canada as Visitor, and applied for SOWP online. I callled cic agent for file status, and he says I cannot apply for visit to sowp inland, I shoud have applied from NewYork office. What is going to happen to my file...

Nothing let IRCC process your file. You will be granted SOWP if your spouse’s job fall in NoC O, A or B.
No problem. But most important is VIsa Officers’ mood. If he is happy he will grant you visa if not in mood, No matter how well you have prepared your application they will find loop hole to kick your ass
DID anyone got OPW approved from Inside Canada ?
We have been waiting from last 3 months.....
Ppl say that you should be making this application from outside Canada . India in our case....
BUt we already made online application from INSIDE Canada.....being on Visitor visa (Over 6 months now , as on Implied status)

Hi ! I need help. My student visa was approved in sept 2019 and I am currently in Canada. I plan on going back to my country and getting married to him in june. Do you think we can apply for his sowp right away or should we wait ? plus,we have been in a relationship for past one year now so our relationship is very genuine but i doubt the officers will see it that way. I need advice on how can we make the timings better so that officers don't think it's fraud
You can apply right away but you have to prove your relationship is genuine. They may call you for interview and ask for showing marriage album and other proof in person. This is happening to stop fraud.
the issue is that my mother doesn't approve of my decision and i haven't had a good relation with her since a long time. and also our marriage is not going to be very large scale. only his close family and mine. what do you think ?
Still you are gonna make a wedding album and most important thing is keep sending her some money $100 , $200 more or less 8-10 time and keep its record. And get her passport of your address bearing you as her husband. Still Its visa officer who will decide. As I said if he is in good mood he will grant visa if not he will refuse irrespective of the well prepared application.
