I just noticed there is a new IMM 5669 form dated 06-2019. We sent our application yesterday with the old form from 2018. Will this be a problem?!
Almost certainly not. They normally give a few weeks 'grace'. I think the changes are mainly around newly introduced gender neutral stuff.I just noticed there is a new IMM 5669 form dated 06-2019. We sent our application yesterday with the old form from 2018. Will this be a problem?!
Hi concerning this new imm5669 I got the latest version 06-2019 but some people still get to download the older version 11-2018 and that form is “EIMM5669 so I’m confused to as which one I should use as I’m applying under the spouse class, or does the schedule A from vary depending on the class of sponsorship? ThanksAlmost certainly not. They normally give a few weeks 'grace'. I think the changes are mainly around newly introduced gender neutral stuff.
Okay thanks for clarifying that part because im sending my application off tomorrow and I had everything ready and I was advised the schedule a form 11-2018 has a newer version 06-2019 so I had to download that one and fill it up,then today someone mentioned there are two forms EIMM5669 and IMM5669 and they keep getting the 11-2018 version wen they try to download it so I got all confused because I have to send off my application tomorrow and the newer version has a limited box space for the personal history so I had to tpye on new sheet of paper and also thr newer version doesn’t have to be validated as it doesn’t have the validate button. So I’m good for sure I won’t get my application returned?IRCC accepts the latest form and one before that, at all given times. So you should be all set. Also i have heard issues with the new form!
I am pretty sure you will be fine. Another reason to look at this way is that if you consider the checklist, it clearly says we need to validate this 5669 form after completion. However the new version does not have any option to validate. This is a clear error on their part. They should either fix the form or update the checklist. So EIMM5669 is what i personally sent for my application.Okay thanks for clarifying that part because im sending my application off tomorrow and I had everything ready and I was advised the schedule a form 11-2018 has a newer version 06-2019 so I had to download that one and fill it up,then today someone mentioned there are two forms EIMM5669 and IMM5669 and they keep getting the 11-2018 version wen they try to download it so I got all confused because I have to send off my application tomorrow and the newer version has a limited box space for the personal history so I had to tpye on new sheet of paper and also thr newer version doesn’t have to be validated as it doesn’t have the validate button. There is a form which is not in the package. It's called " Supplementary information-Your Travels" You need to include it in your package as well. It's for Principal applicant to complete: travel history of yourself, spouse and dependents child 18 and older. Good luck. Can someone clarify if we have to add travel history to personal history tab?
IMM 5669 06-2019 request received yesterday!
Hello, I just received a message from IRCC to send filled out IMM5669 form to them. The latest form that I downloaded (2019-06) is having a lot of limitations in the sense that I cannot put in the complete name of the educational institutions that I have studied or the companies that I have worked for? They also mention to not write any abbreviations. How am I supposed to do this? They do say that I can attach another paper and put more details in that one if required. But where do I attach that? There is an option to upload just one document on my application page. Please guide me in this aspect. Thanks.I am kind of confused here too. We got an email two days ago asking for a newly filled out form of this and I just filled out the new form. When I downloaded it yesterday from the application package to check if there was a new version, it gave me the old one from 11-2018. I only saw this thread here coincidentally and downloaded the new version from their 'find application forms'. How are we even supposed to know that there is a new form if the application package and guide both only mention the old one? The old form which you used to have to sign electronically and by hand. And the old form even says on it to sign electronically. The new form doesn't say that. I guess I can't do anything wrong by just typing it electronically and then signing it by hand?
I want to make sure to send the newest version because I have no idea why they even want this again. They didn't even give us SA or anything else yet and after not hearing anything from them for 5 months, we finally got a request to send this form and IMM5532 again.
You can combine the application and annex in pdf (I would do just that)Hello, I just received a message from IRCC to send filled out IMM5669 form to them. Thank you for the suggestion. Makes sense! You can combine the application and annex in pdf (I would do just that)
It makes complete sense! The only thing I was worried about was that how could I modify/add pages to an official document prepared by the Govt. Anyway, I do not want to get into trouble by providing incomplete information so this makes complete sense. Thank you for this suggestion! You can take the print out of the form. Fill details like name, signature etc. And at places where you know the space is less, just write document attached. Then make a table in the same format with the same headings on Microsoft word. Put the question number on top of the table and also details like your name and Client ID on top of the word file.
While uploading, scan the printed out form, attach on the same word file and convert it to pdf so it becomes one document.
I hope that helps.
