I submitted on Sept 4th...no updates
Did ur application start review eligibility?
I submitted on 8th sep no update.. they are still working on august files.. may be start September files this week..
My wife applied for PGWP back in September 9th and I also applied to renew my OWP in the same application. With that being said, quick question for you guys: Is it true that, if she is not working at the time of the application, my OWP can be refused?
I am a little bit confused because someone mentioned this earlier and now I am afraid of not getting my OWP renewed. She did get a job after we applied, so, if the officer requests any proof we will have at least.
If this is true, can someone share the link to it? Thank you in advance!

She didn't need to have a job when you applied, but IRCC will be requesting a job letter and 3 payslips to process your OWP. The job that she now has must be in NOC AOB category and it must be full-time, at least 30 hours per week.
Applied September 13 for Post Grad permit and open work permit extension for my wife.
Today her application was refused. I didn’t submit the information from my job. I don’t know how I did see that. Now she is out of status because our permits expire on Nov 30.
I am hoping to hear back from my post grad permit soon so I can apply for her again.
Any advice?

It is strange that they refused her without requesting the job letter and the 3 payslips because I know of a similar case and the VO simply requested the docs. They were uploaded via web form and then approved. She can change her status to visitor, until you get yours, and then you reapply for her.
Yes thats what I thought too. I thought they would ask. Luckily she already has a visitors visa already so I am gonna do that route. Do I need to wait until I get mine approved before I apply?
