I finally got my passport back and I'm so excited. see below for my very interesting timeline. I didn't use a lawyer nor a consultant. Everything is DIY so feel free to ask me anything.
Start to prepare for documents (WES, IELTS, Police certificate): Oct 2018
Medical Exam: Nov 10, 2018
IELTS results received: end of Nov, 2018 (luckily I got CLB10 in the first try)
WES evaluation done: Jan 14, 2019
Submit profile in the Express Entry Pool: Jan 16, 2019 (CRS: 456)
ITA received: Jan 23 (Cut Score: 443)
AOR: Jan 29, 2019
Medical passed 1st/Biometrics request: Mar 13, 2019
Biometrics received: Mar 18, 2019
GCMS notes applied: July 24, 2019
6 months mark passed: July 29, 2019
Start calling IRCC from Canada to ask for any progresses, learned that eligibility has not passed but other documents look good
Received IRCC saying the authorization form has a different signature compared to the passport: August 6, 2019
Submitted a new authorization form: August 7, 2019
Submitted additional documents for employment reference in fear of eligibility not passed: Sept 3, 2019
Received GCMS notes: September 15, 2019 (Which confirmed the first eligibility review did not pass)
Followed up with more calls and IRCC confirmed they received additional documents
Received Ghost update: Oct 18, 2019
Called again to confirm: security has started
Medical got extended: Nov 4, 2019
Ready for Visa email: Nov 8, 2019
Send out passport and photos: Nov 8, 2019
Received and Signed: Nov 12, 2019
(Online account status never changes before or after ready-for-visa email)
Status change/Approved: Nov 25, 2019
(Online account status changed to APPROVED)
Return tracker activated: Nov 27, 2019
Passport received: Nov 28, 2019
I was not able to see the expected delivery schedule for my return envelope but it got delivered in the morning to the mail box.
I'm so happy that my 14 months of journey is coming to an end and I just need to activate COPR.
