You can ask the call centre for which office is processing your application. Not everyone gets an FP request.

Did someone from Edmonton who says in process on ECAS on Oct 9th 2019 receive any invitation for the test yet?

I seem to be worrying now as I haven't receive anything back yet.

Just wanna share an update, my wife called IRCC today, and the agent said the FP was received and BG check was completed. The agent also confirmed the processing office is Scarborough.
Below is the Timeline
Family of 2 (husband and wife)
Physical Presence: 1100 days
Location: Vaughan(GTA)
App sent: June 24th
App delivered: June 27th
AOR: September 4th
In Process: October 22nd
FP request(wife only): Nov 1st
FP done: Nov 5

Sorry I'm little late in updating as I'm out of country.
On November 5th, I got the invite for the citizenship test. Test is scheduled on December 6th.
I sent an email requesting to reschedule. No response yet.

I cut my trip short just to come back in Canada to do the test. I did my Citizenship Test today, I got 20/20. Patiently waiting for the schedule of my Citizenship Ceremony..

You could give IRCC toll free a call, their agent would be able to confirm your FP receipt status & date.

The exam was very easy, i only used the "discover canada book" . In fact the young guy sitting at the back finished the exam in just 10 minutes, in less than 20 minutes half of the examinees finished the exam. Most of the questions were self explanatory. By the way, i am single lady..
